Policies, Returns & Cancellations

  • We stand by our products and are happy to exchange any cork tainted or wine that may be defective from La Casa Bianca Winery for a fresh bottle of the current vintage, of that wine or a gift certificate.
  • All wines if stored at optimal conditions should be consumed within 4 months of purchase.
  • By law of the BC Liquor Distribution Branch, we can only replace wine, or issue a gift card, for wine that has been purchased within 30 days of the purchase date with a valid proof of purchase, in order for the return to be processed.
  • It is the BC Liquor Board policy to provide your name, contact information and reason codes on all returns.
  • By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed.
  • La Casa Bianca Winery shall not be held liable for any damage to property or person for wine that is corked, flawed or damaged by purchaser.
  • We are also unable to accept returns of wines that were damaged due to adverse weather conditions whether this be during shipment, or your own transportation.
  • We are also unable to accept returns of wines that were ordered in error.
  • We need the bottle in question to be returned in person or shipped, with valid proof of purchase having come from La Casa Bianca Winery.
  • Any defective product must be at least ½ full.
  • We do not replace bottles purchased from any other liquor merchants within Canada or internationally.
  • We do not incur the cost to ship any replacement bottles or corked wine bottles back to the winery.
  • We understand that our patrons across the country may not easily be able to return the questionable bottle in person, but our policy is in place to uphold our product quality assurance by testing the product in question, and also allows us to responsibly serve and sell wine within the parameters of our liquor license. 
  • Please send an email to [email protected] to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
  • Please note that national carriers such as Canada Post and FedEx do not provide coverage for alcoholic products damaged or tainted while in transit. For your security please ship your purchase with an insured courier and retain your receipt. La Casa Bianca Winery is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit   
  • Once the wine is received, gone through testing and review process, and if we find the wine was defective, we will issue a gift card less any shipping and handling
  • A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all cancelled orders
